The second floor features the enormous Master Bedroom with King Bed, Intelligent TV, sitting area, and private bath! The private bath has a walk-in shower, double vanity, and a soaking tub for relaxation. Down the hallway you will find the 3 other bedrooms, full hall bath, and washer & dryer. Tips to get the best vacation rental experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. Reserve your rental home in Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Often, property management companies supply Charleston area area travel guides which will include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Make a plan and pick the best Charleston area vacation home:
- Begin by choosing your vacation dates and a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Spacious, Family Beach Home! Ping Pong, Pet Friendly, Close to Beach & Marina! has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you book your rental. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to establish what is right for your vacation family.
- Looking for special amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental home.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
Advice for a great stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
- To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your visit, inspect for any problem areas upon check in. Make contact with the rental manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent lots of issues.
- Respect the neighborhood. Often, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let burglars spoil your vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to propel future bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
