The chef's kitchen is really one to admire! Some of its highlights are the generous butler's pantry, new gas range, wine cooler, dual ovens, pretty cabinetry and countertops, a farmhouse sink, and a giant central island with four additional bar breakfast stools. The dining area has a farmhouse table with seating for ten.

Tips to get the very best Charleston area vacation rental experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • Summer time is high season in Isle of Palms. Reserve your rental in the Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • In the Charleston area area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Charleston area area visitor guides that include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to choose the best rental:

  • Select your vacation dates and spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Premier, Modern Home! Great IOP Location! has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the property management company before reserving the home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • Does your group require specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a rental that allows animals. Request details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

Tips for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your . Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages aren't linked to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas during check in. Speak to the property manager immediately to report any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your home life. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
