This is a private apartment with it's own separate entrance. Guests have access to the shared courtyard, patio, and heated swimming pool.

The neighborhood is ideal for a couple or a group who is looking to entirely embrace Charleston's unique appeal. Step right outside your door and find a wonderfully curated mix of stores, bars, bakeries, and dining. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Island Provisions before exploring King Street, Charleston's ultimate epicenter of stores and eateries, which is just one short block from the property. Charleston is a walking city! Uber is widely available. If guests do have a car, we provide ONE (1) off-street parking space. We suggest bringing an economy size car to help with getting around Charleston's narrow downtown streets.

Tips to get the best Charleston area rental home experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Charleston area visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have money saving offers on nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

How to choose the perfect vacation rental in Charleston:

  • Select a group leader, select your vacation dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration you need. Serene Escape Over Heated Pool, 1 Block to King St has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the host before you book the rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a specific Charleston area destination you are crazy about, keep an eye out for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .

During your stay:

  • We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • At Check-in, note any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your life at home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a terrific time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
