Roomy and chic 2-floor town home unit with 2 KING bed Bedrooms, a full kitchen, roomy living and dining rooms. (Min. 4 nighttime stay required. Rental weeks are Sunday-Sunday) This unit is part of the Church Street Inn, corner of Church and Market Streets, a striking location with so much to walk to or do close by... pretty historic homes, the waterfront area, fantastic dining and shopping. The historic city market is just steps out the door!

This town-home is one of only three 2 Bedroom King-Bed/ 2 full bath units in Church Street Inn. (not what is offered through the Choice hotels booking site, but you still get all the hotel amenities) They vary slightly in layout but the photos represent the furnishings and decor in each town-home. The likely bed layout for this unit is a king bed in each bedroom and a sleeper couch in living room. There is one bathroom downstairs and one en-suite bath with one of the bedrooms upstairs. You'll have a full kitchen and living and dining room area, plus balconies off the 2nd floor bedrooms. There is an elevator in the entrance lobby to get you to the 2nd floor of the building and the front door level of the unit, but note only a staircase inside the unit gives access to the second floor bedrooms. The rate DOES NOT include parking costs: Parking garage is steps away around the corner and is $20 per day and can be self service (Garage is open 24/7) or valet is also available 8am -8pm to retrieve your car. The Church Street Inn garage cannot accommodate any cars over 6’5’’. This includes camper tops, RV, H2 hummers, some SUV’s with lift kits, or bicycle racks.

Tricks and tips to get the best Charleston area vacation rental experience:

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Booking your vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is an excellent way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer promotional rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Look for your local Charleston area visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have coupons for local tours and attractions.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Select your vacation week and max budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Historic market location! 2-King Bedrooms in Townhome with hotel amenities has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available online. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before you book your rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your trip.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or may be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's a particular Charleston area beach you simply love, keep an eye out for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking

More considerations for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Add a note with the instructions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many concerns.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Note any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to inspire new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
