Other things to note
PLEASE READ: The home is located on an old horse and carriage road; meaning its a modest alley way. The driveway will hold (2) modest cars or (1) longer car but its VERY tricky (nearly impossible) turning in with a enormous car/truck. Also, just with parking and navigating around the city, a smaller car is way more ideal.
If you've ever been to Charleston you'll know the best way to cruise around the peninsula is via GOLF CART! Be like a local and navigate the modest horse and carriage alleys in style! If you are interested in renting our 6 person GOLF CART its a separate rental. Once you book your stay I can send you the paperwork for that. Our Bintelli Beyond is a brand new Low Speed Car that is a street legal car, unlike a regular golf cart, it can be driven both day and nighttime. It seats 6 people, has headlights, indicators, windshield wipers, sound system, blue-tooth capabilities and seat belts for everybody!

Tricks and tips to get the perfect vacation rental experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
- In the Charleston area area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area visitor guides which include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Planning and picking yourrental home:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your dates, and choose a maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Downtown Cheerful, 3 BDRM + 3 Full Bath + GOLF CART has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before booking the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is right for your group.
- If there's a particular Charleston area attraction you are crazy about, browse homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
Tips for a wonderful stay:
- Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Note any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of concerns.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great source for finding the best local beaches.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would at home.
- Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to inspire more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
