Tips and Tricks to get the optimal rental home experience:
Get the most from your rental home budget:
- To find the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- In the Charleston area area, The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Some property managers offer special rates for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area visitor guides which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself.
