The Space: Welcome to Angeline Carriage! Two charmingly modernized homes! The entrances to each home are roughly 200 feet from one another. The homes do not connect via an interior door
The Angeline is a gorgeously refreshed home ideal for 6-8 guests. Located on the building’s second floor, you’ll first step into a comfortable living space with seating for five and a sizable flat screen TV. Just through the living area is a entirely equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a huge farmhouse sink and plenty of space to whip up breakfast or a gourmet dinner, if you’re in the mood to stay in for the nighttime. Have your coffee in the kitchen at the high-top table for two or take advantage of Charleston’s mild weather to eat outdoors on the piazza, where a classic diner table seats six and a high-top table offers additional seating.
Just off the piazza you’ll find the first bedroom, which offers a king-sized bed, a gorgeous original fireplace and a charming ensuite featuring a timeless claw foot tub. As you walk deeper into the space, you’ll pass a coffee bar/butler’s pantry on your way to the next ensuite bedroom. This bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, a beautiful original fireplace with a striking tile surround, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The home’s two additional bedrooms share a common bathroom with a walk-in shower off the main hallway. The first bedroom offers a king-sized bed and the second includes a queen-sized bed.
The Carriage (the second of two homes with this rental) is also part of the Revival Street Collection, a site of historic homes which have been attractively remodeled and ‘revived’ from their Victorian era glory days. Following the path down the secluded driveway you will find The Carriage House and its huge 2nd level piazza, an architectural staple here in Charleston, which spans the length of the home. You are greeted by the relaxing fountain outside before heading up to the second level where you can make your way in and let the relaxation begin. The homes design is in keeping with the adjacent Victoria era historic buildings. This home is solid masonry construction constructed in 2022.
This two story home begins up the stairs on the 2nd level of the building with the living and dining spaces found on this main level. Through the front door, a cozy living area features cozy seating on the plush plum couch and adjacent chairs, a huge flat screen tv, and includes access to the enormous piazza, making indoor/outdoor living simple and accessible…ideal for entertaining your group in between activities! Open to the living area are the dining area and kitchen. A sizable wooden table with seating for 6 greets you as you follow through to the open classic style kitchen. The kitchen, equipped with additional bar seating for two and modern stainless-steel appliances is the ideal place for a group to have a nighttime in and prepare the most gourmet meal you could want… or better yet have a private chef over to do the cooking for you!
Following past the kitchen is one of the four bedrooms. Featuring a queen size bed, access to the piazza, and a full en-suite bathroom with single vanity and tiled walk-in shower, this room is ideal for those wanting close proximity to the action on the main level.
On this floor you will also find the laundry closet just off the dining area.
Heading up to the second floor, you will find the other three bedrooms. The two bedrooms in the back of the condo feature a queen bed, closet space, and a “Jack and Jill” style bathroom connecting the two bedrooms which features a tiled shower/tub combo, and double vanity.
On the second level you will also find the master bedroom. With a large king bed, double closets, and an en-suite bathroom, this master is the ideal to feel at home and relax while visiting Charleston. The cavernous en-suite bathroom features a delightfully tiled glass walk-in shower, and dual vanity.
All bedrooms also include flat screen TVs for all your streaming needs, sumptuous linens and towels for each stay, and extravagant bath amenities for your convenience. There’s no need to worry about parking either; La Maison d’Angeline includes one off street parking space so you’ll always have a space for your rental or family car.
*Currently, commercial construction is going on across the street. Those that are sensitive to noise should consider this.*

How to get the best Charleston area vacation property experience:
When to go & When to reserve a rental home:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Charleston area area. To find the best value, try changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
- Property managers typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local Charleston area area magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides have offers and deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Selecting and booking the bestrental:
- Start by choosing your trip dates and a maximum budget.
- Revival St Collection has 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible online. If they are not listed, email or call the property owner before booking the property. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
- Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
- Some rental properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about pets before booking.
More tips for your stay:
- Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
- During check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respect your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to confirm you've collected everything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on good feedback to inspire more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
