This home is a pretty 2 bed 1 bath single-family home that sits in a incredible, peaceful neighborhood in West Ashley. It comes completely furnished in addition to a outfitted kitchen with everything you will need to make any meal. The kitchen also features new appliances. The neighborhhod (Huntington Woods) is amazing. It is very peaceful and walkable with pretty vistas of mature trees and marsh, while also being within close distance to all that Charleston offers from the beach to downtown to even out in Summerville (I-26 is 5 mins. from the driveway). The home is also on a big lot with a fenced-in backyard and a modest pond, where we often get visits from handsome birds like Blue Herons, Egrets, and Nighttime Herons.

Tips for getting the best Charleston area vacation rental experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- Summer is high season in Charleston. Reserve your Charleston area vacation in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Charleston area area visitor guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Charleston area visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Make a plan and choose the rightvacation home:
- Choose a designated group leader, choose your trip dates, and select a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Charming 2-bedroom West Ashley home in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Charleston area rentals search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking websites. If not, email or call the host before booking your rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Visiting for a single event? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
- If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a property that allows animals. Get specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some hosts charge additional pet fees.
Know before you go:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Add a note with the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your stay, make note of any problem areas upon your arrival. Make contact with the host immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your peaceful home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect your property!
- Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great reviews to compel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
