The Wonderer is a private club in Downtown Charleston, offering a 2-acre campus with resort-style amenities. As our guest, you will receive access to their Tulum-inspired pool, cabanas, restaurant and bar, exercise studio, wellness classes, and a recovery room unlike any other! Day passes and cabanas have associated costs.

Two weeks before your reservation date, all guests will be supplied with a one-pager that includes booking information to reserve access to The Wonderer.

I will be available for whatever you may need as I live very close to the property. I will very likely be in the Charleston area as well, but it not, I can still provide guidance or recommendations for activities you may be interested in.

The home is located right off upper King St. just steps away from all of the bars and eateries Charleston has to offer.

You will be able to walk to most places on the peninsula. Uber and Taxis are available as well. 20 mins. drive to Folly Beach, 5 mins. to Mt. Pleasant, 15 mins. to Sullivan's island, 20 mins. to the airport, and 25 mins. to Isle of Palms!

Check in is at 4pm and checkout is 11am. Unfortunately we can not accommodate early checkins or late checkouts.

Charleston does have rather a few bugs, we have a professional pest control company service the home every month. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, keep doors/windows closed, food wrapped and store it in the refrigerator.

How to get the best rental value:

  • The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • To find the best value, consider shifting your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast?
