The Space: Our cavernous two floor home, ‘The Sweetgrass House’, is ideal for groups of 8-10 guests with 4 bedrooms, 4 full baths. Located just off of Spring Street, location and parking won't be an issue here!
Accessed by it own entrance/exit, and up modest (exterior) porch stairs, The Sweetgrass House features an open floor plan that accommodates both dining and lounge space, making it great for groups looking to spend time together or appreciate a meal. Dining table with 4 seats and living room with plush comfortable couches and flat screen TVs. Two of the four bedrooms are located on the first level with two full bathrooms and the same layout upstairs as well. Each of these bedrooms with its own Queen sized bed. Our team provides basic login credentials, so feel complimentary to use your own during your stay. Totally equipped kitchen with basic cooking/kitchenware is also located on this first level.
Guests will have access to the whole property along with all its amenities and comes with 2 to 3 parking spaces complimentary. Please note the driveway is very narrow, so we recommend unloading suitcases upon arrival in front before parking your car.

Other Notes: *Pet fee: Our home is pet friendly. We have a $200 per pet fee. We limit to 2 dogs in the home and we have a very strict no cat policy. Only dogs are allowed at the home. Please be sure to add the dog to your guest count when booking and reach out for permission to bring the second dog before booking.

Get the most from your budget:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Charleston area area. Booking in Fall or Spring is a great way to save on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes.
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. - Just before checking out, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
- Did you have a great time? Many rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
