Things to know prior to booking your stay:
• The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor.
• Full Disclosure: There are modest bunk beds constructed into the hallway – they are adored by kids. They're also a great place to use for additional storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”.
• All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller kids. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a completely functional kitchen!
• Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying.
• Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or download an app to pay!
• Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass.
• The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round.
• No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor.
• No family pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is supplied prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation.
• This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay!

Continue on past the full bathroom, which offers a shower-tub combo and a beachy vibe with sea-foam green walls. Walk further down the hallway, and you'll come across the main open concept kitchen and living area.
The kitchen is entirely equipped, so grab your favorite fresh fruit from a local market and all the ingredients for you need to make your own bespoke creations and recipes. A blue-tiled backsplash adds a pop of color to the space, and a modest center island provides additional counter space, as well as a place to dine with two bar stools. Strategies to get the perfect rental experience:
Sticking to a budget:
- Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Book your rental in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Booking your rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Property managers usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local Charleston area visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have coupons for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Filter your rental search:
- Start by selecting potential vacation weeks and a budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. 2023 Updates! 3rd Floor Condo w\/Amazing Ocean View! Pool & Pier Access! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible online. If not, reach out to the host before you reserve the rental. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.
- Some properties allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
Some things to know before you go:
- Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the property manager right away to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your group have a fantastic time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
