Located next to our creek, you'll see water fowl galore while sipping your morning coffee in our outdoor seating area. Just 15 mins. to Folly Beach & 6 mins. to Downtown Charleston, we are in an ideal location for a fun Charleston hideaway.
This cozy airstream can sleep four, but really is best for just two adults and two kids, or two adults.
The entire airstream is for your use, as well as the outside sitting area on the front deck. The rest of the backyard is shared with our family and the guests in our guesthouse. Please appreciate the picnic table, hot tub, basketball hoop, & grille!
We are here if you need anything or want to interact, but we leave it up to you how much that happens.

Tricks and tips to get the perfect Charleston area rental home experience:
Get the most from your budget:
- Book your Charleston area rental home in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Charleston area visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines have deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Choosing the perfect vacation rental in Charleston:
- Begin by selecting potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family needs. James Island Airstream- Between Downtown & Folly Beach. Creekside Glamping! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before booking the home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is right for your vacation.
- If there's an individual Charleston area beach you simply love, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.
- If your group is bringing pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
Considerations for your stay:
- Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- To make certain no damages are linked to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. Make contact with the property manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many difficulties.
- Be a good neighbor. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a terrific stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
