The Space:
Our bungalow features two gorgeously furnished bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and the other with a king sized bed, ideal for couples or groups of friends. Appreciate a restful nighttime's sleep with plush linens and calming decor.
The entirely equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, including modern appliances, cookware, and essential kitchen silverware. Unwind in the roomy living room with a flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and plenty of natural light.

The fenced in backyard is ideal for family pets. Gravel is coming soon.

Free on-site parking is available, making it painless to come and go as you please. The space also comes equipped with a washer and dryer for your laundry needs.

This home is located in West Ashley's trendy Avondale District. You have eateries, coffee stores, shopping, and more all within steps of your front door. There is also a close by recreation park and dog park within walking distance from the property.

Getting Around:
This home is located in the Avondale District of West Ashley and just mins. from downtown Charleston, you'll have simple access to all the best attractions, eateries, and stores. Savor the vibrant local culture and discover landmarks like The Battery, Charleston City Market, and Rainbow Row. Folly Beach is about a 20 min. drive away.

Other Things to Note:
Long term stays are welcomed and encouraged. Please reach out to me directly to discuss terms of booking a long term stay. Additional security deposit and cleaning costs may be required for long term stays.

We are pet friendly. The pet fee is $150 per pet for short term stays.

Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out Requests will be honored when scheduling permits it. A $50 fee will be applied for any accommodations that we are able to honor.

West Ashley, a neighborhood in Charleston, is home to this vacation home. Charleston City Market and USS Yorktown are notable landmarks, and some of the area's popular attractions include South Carolina Aquarium and Patriots Point. Finding your best deal:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To book the largest rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Charleston area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.

  • Does your group require special amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.

Tips for a smooth stay:

  • Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on good ratings to stimulate future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
