There’s a fish with your name on it in Charleston and Coastal Carolina Fishing Charters will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Christopher, offering years of knowledge and experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Vermilion Snapper, Great Barracuda, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Gray Triggerfish, Scup (Porgy), Black Seabass, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Amberjack, and anything else that bites. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with Coastal Carolina Fishing Charters are child-friendly, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your vessel for the day is “PRIDE N JOY”, a 30’ Robalo center console with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Christopher will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. It’s always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
