Book your next trip with Last Cast Charleston and find out what the fishing in Charleston is all about.
Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Amberjack, Vermilion Snapper, Broomtail Grouper, Gray Triggerfish, and more could be biting, depending on the time of year. You may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your adventure begins aboard a 47’ Convertible with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Trips with Last Cast Charleston are child-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. A few items to bring include snacks, drinks, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
